Our History

The Restaurant Connection began in 1992 as an 800 phone number to connect people to neighborhood restaurants that offered delivery or to receive a faxed menu. After a remarkable response, The Restaurant Connection expanded the services of the 800 number to include Take Out, Reservations, Catering, Banquets, and Entertainment.

Soon after, The Restaurant Connection launched 800774FOOD.COM to include Internet services. With the advent of personal email devices combined with wireless phones, our users had, at their fingertips, the ability to make their dining decisions. Locating restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Las Vegas had never been easier!

At the end of 2007, 800774FOOD.COM became YourRestaurantConnection.com.

Present

The Restaurant Connection moves forward with an updated website. YourRestaurantConnection.com offers all of the great features of its predecessor but with a new look, feel, and new search options with expanded listings into areas outside of Southern California and Las Vegas. We are also excited to be featuring Merrill Shindler’s (Senior Editor for Zagat) News and Reviews. Look for our new markets opening soon offering even more entertainment and dining experiences. We look forward to having you join us!
